Hello everyone! I'm considering of purchasing a dress watch and I'd like to hear your thoughts about this beauty. It's 18ct solid gold and comes with box and papers although I haven't seen the movement yet. I've contacted the seller directly. It seems legit but I would appreciate your insights about its authenticity. Cheers!

According to the Omega Extranet, that serial number is for a reference 73106349, and it has a Cal. 1479 quartz movement inside. They don't show many photos, but I can see the dial and hands, and they look the same as the watch.

I would make sure to look at the movement, and if possible remove the battery and check for corrosion on the contacts - you may have problems if the cell has leaked in the past and has caused corrosion damage.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers, Al
