Hi All,

Recently the crown has broken off my Omega De Ville 1325 (70s) - A TFL barrier closed on me and bashed the watch quite hard. nI found the crown but im missing a part.

I believe its the pusher corrector, but im unsure how on earth a new button fits into that hole securely? I had a quote from a watch repair shop of 850 (which is way more than the watch is worth) Does anybody have any advice on parts, if so where to source? Also trying to find a repair guide for this but struggling. Im failing to see how a button securely fastens onto the stem? am i missing any spring or any other parts? Happy for it to be an after market part too.

Thanks in advanced
B

Welcome to the forum.

I have a couple of Omega electronic watches and send them to Croydon Watch Services. They charge me about £35 to examine and assess the watch. If you go ahead with the repair - and I’m assuming that it will be nothing particularly complicated - then the assessment charge is included in the cost of the repair and postage.

The cost to me was around £300 plus VAT plus postage. I’m happy to recommend them and attach their details.

I also attach photos of the watches they repaired for me.

I’m pretty sure they stock or they’re able to source parts
