Does anyone know much history about this watch? I couldn't really find much online. Thinking of purchasing as a gift for my boyfriend.

It has no B or P but has appraisal value for $3,500 CAD. Is that value accurate? Is it a good gift for someone that already has 3 Omega watches?

thank you!!

It looks like a 168.1220 DeVille Prestige from late 90s or early 2000s, with a caliber 1120 (ETA 2892 based). This is my first time eyeing one of these, but $2500 USD doesn't seem like a fantastic deal. There's one identical (with the same BOR bracelet) in Chrono24 for $1900 and another sold in eBay for ~$1700. In a forum I saw it listed for $800 without bracelet.

What other Omegas does your boyfriend have? Are you looking for a vintage piece or a newer design? If you haven't already decided on this one, I'm sure we can give you some great alternatives for that much money or less.

Appraisal is $3500 CAD, but purchase price with tax is $2,100.00 CAD.

He has an 2023 Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra, 1971 Omega Constellation with a leather band and a 1930s Omega on a leather band

$1500 USD seems reasonable enough. I would personally look at a different model, as tonneau cases aren't exactly hallmarks for Omega, but that's my personal taste.

The Aqua Terra is a classic sports watch. The Constellation (c-case?) is a bit more dressy. I think he misses a chronograph, but not sure what to suggest within that budget.
