I have finally settled on a watch, and this is the type I am looking for. Borrowed image below. I think there are variations on this, so would consider others that are of this same style, etc. Hoping to pay below 1200.00 USD.

Or perhaps a 2-subdial caliber 860 145.017? I may be underestimating the differences in prices between US and Europe, but I fear you may search high and low for a DeVille chrono in the USD1200 range. Most I have seen lately seem to be trading in a +USD2000 range.

 

You might be right. In another post it was said I might be able to get something like this around that price, so figured I would post the request. The 2-subdial is nice also for sure. But I love the Tachymetre on the 3-dial.

 

You may find both 2 and 3 dial versions with various dials (including tachymeter on the 860). I think Omega is mentioning 4 or 5 different dial variations for these references.

Tissot had their own version looking much the same and with basically the same movement. Maybe this could end closer to your target price?!

I have a newer one from 1997 that I've only had for about a week but I do like it. It's hard to think of a more tried and tested movement than the Cal 861 and I rather like the De Ville, which feels elegant yet very well made.
