Hello, my dad just gave me his late '70 de ville omega with manual charge. I was wonder how much is it worth? Moreover as you can see from the picture it's a bit dirty in the quadrant and it hasn't been used for few years. Should I bring the watch in an omega store for a full revision even tho it's working just fine? Thanks in advance
Unfortunately, this is not a particularly collectible watch. I'm assuming this is a gold plated or filled case, possibly with a steel back. A service at Omega is going to cost several times the value of the watch. If you want to wear it every day, then it will need a service. Better to take it to a good independent watchmaker who will charge much less than Omega. Hope this helps, gatorcpa
