Last year Omega came out with all the new year novelties at Omega Days on 7th of march.
Are we up for Omega Days 2023 next week?

Looking forward to the new models.
What do you expect to be released?

Im a bit surprised that there’s no official announcement or specific date known for 2023 yet.

Dont think there will be any Omega Days this year. OB tells me they seems to want to have more focused and staggered launches throughout the year instead of 1 big event.

Hm,

I am not sure if we will see that again. To me there is more likely the strategie "trigger the marked every month with one ore two new Spot-On Watches" selected ....

Personally, I don't think that's a good strategy on Omega's part. I typically plan my personal watch year in the spring and decide which watches I want to buy after the otherwise usual new presentations of the manufacturers. Some I then also order from my AD and I strictly adhere to my pre-orders. Then an Omega could possibly get lost because I have decided on something else.

But my personal preferences will unfortunately have little influence on Omega, should they have decided on this course of action. ☺️

I like this better and it makes more sense...
After Omega Days last year, NONE of the newly announced watches were available for months. I think the Speedy '57 was the first new release available? Then the green SMP trickled out slowly in months following. Ultra Deep was finally available in the Fall. The new ATs disappeared until just a few weeks ago.

Are the new ATs for sale by now?
I was in Biel and Zurich last week, they had the new ATs and the Ultra Deeps as well. They were marked as "exclusive preview" (or something similar) but you could actually buy them. Here in Hong Kong they are still not available, so I guess they prioritize the domestic market, Moonswatches were also easily available.

I've seen one post on IG from someone in Cali buying the saffron dial so looks like they're out now but very limited at the moment.

Production does appear to be a big problem for them right now. I wouldn't be opposed to Omega holding off on releasing anything altogether and spending the year improving the turnaround for their servicing department and supply chain. I have a Speedmaster 3861 out for its second warranty service, and at this rate, it'll have spent half of its 2-year time in my possession out of my hands.

Care to elaborate, was the first issue the bushing problem where the watch would stop on full powerreserve, is the second same issue again or different?

First issue was the bushing problem, and they're still not sure what the second problem was. Hoping I just got really unlucky, but regardless the service is undeniably disappointing.
