    Hello everyone.

My name is Jay. I'm very new to this interest and to this forum. (Thank you Admin BTW for approving my application).

Been reading a lot of posts here especially on spotting fake or franken-watches and the like. Very interesting and encouraging comments also on vintage collections.

Despite my learnings from the forum, being very new here I would need help or advise on this timepiece I'm eyeing.

I've seen pictures and threads on the Cosmic 2000 and seems the piece seems to be ok based on my newbie eye. The only thing I'm not comfortable with is how the lens protrudes. Comparing to other pictures of the same model, it shouldn't protrude as much. These are the only pics I have. I don't have pics of the movement.

    May I ask for advise.

    Thanks. IMG_2445.JPG IMG_2451.PNG

I dont think there is anything wrong with the crystal. Thats the least of your worries. caseback is extremely polished.

Thanks for the feedback. It's being sold to me at around 550 USD.

The crystal is either too thick (most likely) or not seated properly.

Unless they have a written receipt for a recent service, that price is high by at least $100-$150.00.
