Funding the Speedy...will do my best to describe this nice and original 168.005 Connie. Dial: original silver onyx marker cross hair pie pan in excellent condition. Slight oxidation seen at certain angles, and could benefit from a cleaning with a dial brush. Case: appears to be unpolished dog leg stainless case. There are gauges in the inner case lugs from a twist o flex that are not seen from the top or when on a strap. The underside of lug tips have a tiny notch only seen from straight on...tried to photograph with my macro lens. Some idiot marks on the caseback, but super sharp observatory and stars. Per @marturx I cleaned it with a damp soft cloth and Autosol and it looks like a million bucks. Movement: cal.561 23,xxx,xxx serial from 1965-66? with no service history, but runs very well and date advances at midnight. Hands/Crystal/Crown: hands are original onyx inlay with a small amount missing on the minute hand. Crystal is original signed Omega with scratches, but is very clean. Crown appears to be from a Seamaster. When on a strap you cannot see the lug issue, but it is there and does ding the value...it is a beautiful dial and very nice case otherwise. With some light cleaning it will be a stunner. Asking $850 shipped in the CONUS, intl will we can work out. As always, feel free to ask questions and make offers, watchknut at gmail.con or PM.
