Hello everyone, I am looking to purchase this 1962 Omega Constellations (Gold Cap) at around 1400 U$. What do you all think? Thanks in advance Ko
To my untrained eye the coloring of the movement makes me want to think it was made from 2 different movements. But I could be wrong as I often am.
Price seems a bit high for a gold capped version. Since there are some question on the movement and the dial seems a bit too white for me, I'd say to pass on this particular one. gatorcpa
It's a redial with a pretty worn caseback - and there is pitting where the back seals against the case. I wouldn't touch it, even at a much lower price.
Thank you guys. Since I am new to vintage watch, just wonder what you are looking for to tell whether a PiePan is a redial?

Everyone should study and live by Desmond"s essay's, He's had to have put many years of work in these, what a privilege to have access to such a resource. Great post Gatorcpa!!!
