I don't like the dial, I think the bezel is missing, I'd be amazed if it runs properly and a gold eating gerbil has been at the case back... is this a prospective purchase?
Looks like a redial to me. The font is off and too faint. It's almost like it was traced on. The star has definitely been reglued onto the dial (you can see the glue residue). And it's a poor glue job too. The star shouldn't cover the "N". The seconds hand is well, second hand. I'd stay away from this one.
I think the dial finish is original, but the watch has been to hell and back. Selbo is correct about the star. Even then, it may not fit properly. I'd take a pass and look for a better example, gatorcpa
