I recently made a major purchase with this patined Omega. Havent checked the movement yet but the case back and the crown are not original. It keeps excellent time for up to 2 days power reserve.
I got it for like $135 from a local watch store.
What do u think guys?

Omega Constellation C Shape case. A design by Gerald Genta. I believe made from middle sixties to late seventies. Not sure if that bracelet is original to the watch but it looks good. Nice vintage piece.

That's a very good deal. Well done. Do you have some more pictures of the caseback, bracelet and clasp?

Worth a lot more if the movement is original. I think you could get at least 500 for it with original crown and caseback, not sure for the value without.

It’s an excellent grab for that money. It’s going to be fine for occasional wear as is but, if you want to wear it regularly, getting a local watchmaker to give it a look over and service will ensure you can wear it every day without fear, and it will be a shrewd investment in the longevity of the watch.

Good timekeeping is not a guarantee that all is well inside and the watchmaker can also send you photos of the movement and the serial, so you can roughly ascertain its age. As @Rado63 said, these were designed by Genta and released by Omega in 1964. They go through until the early 1970s.

I love my C case and it is very accurate. These are often seen on brick style bracelets and I don’t think yours is original, as you say. If it were mine, I’d be tempted to put a rugged/distressed leather strap on it, or a soft suede - just to bring out the patina.

Wear in good health!

Almost a theft at this price ! Well done 😉
The case looks sharp ! It is in my humble opinion a seventies connie 📖
Did you open the inside to check the mecanism and reference ?

This is the pic of the movement. I'm no expert in watch movements, but it seems clean.
Can you be so kind as to fill me in on more details about the movement?
Thank you
