This is another one of my small Omega collection that I would appreciate comments on. I am interested in authenticity, such as correct movement, dial, hands, etc.

This watch was sourced in the greater Tokyo area. The additional printing on the dial refers to well-known retailer in the Ginza shopping district of Tokyo. Omega lists Tenshodo as an authorized Omega dealer.

The watchband is not correct, this watch was shipped from Omega with a leather strap. This is a replica Omega bracelet sourced from the UK that seemed to fit well with the ultra-thin aspect of the 157.0001 Constellation. The curved ends were much too long and had to be tediously cut down and radiused. My understanding is that the 712 is the thinnest automatic movement produced in-house by Omega. It keeps impeccable time, and I enjoy that it does not have a sweep. The dial is not reproduced well in my photos. In person it is a brushed aluminum gray that is just barely lighter than the case. I do have a photo of the actual movement, from the seller, but it is on a computer that is not cooperating at the moment. I will include it later.

The only negative about this watch is that I am a Tommy Bahama and shorts type, and this watch is somewhat too dressy to wear alot.

Never seen one of these.

edit: A bit of googling tells me Tenshodo is a Japanese jewellery store so I guess the is a stamp in the vein of Tiffany etc.

I would say that is correct. I have seen the 157.0001 a couple of times before, but not with the 100th Jubilee stamp.

is it possible that the 100 jubilee relates to TENSHODO ?
(Because Omega’s 100 year jubilee was something like 1948)

I also have a 157.0001 with a similar dial in gold, which I included in this post in February Some thoughts on the Omega Constellation ultra-thin 712 chronometers.

Omega Constellation ultra-thins! I like them!

interesting reading can be found here http://omega-constellation-collecto...6/strangely-nothing-of-substance-appears.html

I got this one

153.014 cal 712 ~1966.
712 is a chronometer-certified in-house automatic caliber that is 3mm thick!

The design probably looks like something of 80s battery watches if you do not see a clear picture or get the chance to handle it because then you immediately discover that it has the little extra, as it should in Omega's top series, silver linen dial, curved back case, shaped plexiglass, interesting font selection, combined shiny and brushed surfaces, but not very waterproof and not noticed among watch collectors 😀.
