This was a recent purchase but I’m looking to buy a new car and need to free up some funds.

The watch features a solid 18k yellow gold case with dog leg lugs. I believe this reference (14900) is the first/earliest model that featured dog leg lugs. The observatory medallion is very crisp and the case has been very well preserved IMO. I’ve left the patina/tarnish on the case as I think it adds some character but it could easily be polished off.

The original, unrefinished pie pan dial is in excellent condition. This model is part of the deluxe line of Constellations as it features a solid 18k gold dial. These gold dials are tricky to photograph so I’ve included photos in different lighting conditions.

Inside is a cal. 551 automatic chronometer rated 24 jewel movement. Service history is unknown but the watch is keeping good time.

    Serial number: 19,xxx,xxx

    Ref. no.: 14900

    Original Omega signed crown.

Pictured strap is not included but I will include a new leather strap.

There is a small mark at the very top of the slopes portion of the crystal in between the 12 and 1 o’clock markers.

Price: $4750 CAD (net), equivalent to ~3350-3400 USD. Standard shipping included to Canada and CONUS. Expedited/insured shipping or international shipping is an option at an extra cost. An 18k deluxe pie pan constellation sold on eBay in March for $3565 USD (seller was located in Mexico).

Watch and I are located in Canada.

    Thank you for saving me.

I gave my birth-year gold capped De Ville to my son, as I never wear it. If I bought this It would’ve been replacing it with another birth-year watch that I would not wear.

But I was coveting it, and I need every penny I can get when they call me to tell me that my Rolex Deep Sea Deep Blue has come in...

Thank you @tpatta for throwing yourself on the grenade. You have spared many here from a tough choice and we are a grateful nation. Sometimes it takes a hero to step up and make sacrifices.

That is a beautiful watch. Congrats to the buyer. I see the seller sold it as it was time to buy a new car. I think you should have held on to it and either walked to work or got a scooter but I understand we need to do what we need to do
