I don't usually care for gold plated watches because most of them are over polished and it doesn't take much for the gold to be polished off. I recently found this one on auction with original papers and couldn't pass on it (I also paid $1200 including importing, which I think is a good deal) , it looks to me that the owner barely wore it and was never polished or minimally polished. I am posting to also share what a minimal polished gold plated omega should look like for buying reference! Hope this is helpful!

Very nice find. And it's gold-capped over stainless, not gold-plated. It's a big difference, IMO.

Great catch. The preserved texture on Caseback medallion and absence of marks on inside lugs support this was hardly worn!!
Very good buy as well.
