Here we have a nice 1960's Omega Constellation Piepan 168.005 in a gold top case. The quintessential 1960's Constellation which by then had added the modern looking dog-leg lugs to the case design. This was a new look for the Constellation range whose case shape hadn't really changed so much since inception in the previous decade. This one has a beautiful off white dial in fantastic condition with perfect gold and onyx baton markers and hands. The case has a little wear but still retains its characteristic edges which are well defined. A gold 0.585 hallmark is visible on the gold top. The case back and gold medallion are in excellent shape. The slimline original period crown with small logo has lost some of its plating. Movement is a cal 564 with 24 million serial number dating it to somewhere around 1966/67. The 564 is the follow up to the 561 and has the added benefit of a quick set date. The watch is winding, running and keeping good time with the date advancing just before midnight. The quick set function is working as it should. I have no service history for this one. Fitted to a vintage and as good as new peccary strap with contrast stitching. €1450 net to me which will include Track and Trace shipping worldwide. I prefer payment by Bank Transfer but will also accept PayPal for trusted and established OF members. Return is possible, but only if not as described. Any questions just ask!
There should be a dedicaded pager for OF private sales thread only. Carry at all times and set extra loud at night
