Good evening to all members of this beautiful Forum! Those last years we all seen the price of the vintage watches exploding, and the reasons are a lot... Now exploring the web sites we find different prices, but I think that the reality of getting that prices is not very real. Now,turning to my point of view ,I am interested to buy a new watch, but to get there I must sacrificed two of my omega's,....they are watches that I don't wear so much, they are there into a box,in the bank...they are 18k gold cases, never polished, without scratches, and perfectly functional. I am asking your opinion about a realistic price ,thanks.
Very nice both of them. My guesstimate would be £2,500 - £3,000 for the de luxe and £2,000 - £2,500 for the standard dial. Hopefully you keep them in the community, lovely watches.
I surely hope you meant USD ?? Also because I do not buy in on the 'never polished' part of it. Or I might be completely bonkers these days Which might just be the case, btw. W
I think @Noddyman is close to correct. If these were dog-leg lug models, it would be even more. gatorcpa
But they are not. And I think it still is a lot (as in 'a lot') of money. Good grief.... So I will have to find me another hobby..... Not
I would say: somewhere between eur 2500-3000 and eur 2000-2200 respectively. Max. So, some 10-15% less at least. But then only for pristine ones. These seem (only based on these pics) a bit polished. So on the lower side of the estimate then. I love them though, don't get me wrong. Might be just my 2cnts W
I don’t wish to rain on your parade @Omega world but I think @Willem023 is nearer the mark (If IMHO even a little optimistic. ) The de luxe is the better case but quite polished and the ‘standard’ is heavily polished. Collectors offer the highest prices but would likely baulk at the condition of the cases. However, they are 18k and have nice dials and could do well on eBay. Best of luck if you put them up for sale.
