Found this on watchuseek... wondering if its abit too expensive for its condiiton? Seller is asking for 1300 USD
I like that, it's a nice watch and price seems fair to me. If this was up on eBay (UK) for £1k I am fairly sure it would have sold by now.
Meaning @Kja, give something more, to help OP. Hope a browse of comment and pics here helps https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-constellations-show-and-tell.19186/ Also to OP, search the reference (case, movement calibre) as homework Most will see 2 of the stars on back are worn or polished off but writings are still legible
Yes, definitely and should be addressed with a proper service. Letting it rub will just spread debris all through the movement.
What more can I give? I've never seen one like that, so I think it may be questionable. Not trying to be rude.
This does confirm my belief one of the case clamps is much thinner on 505 movements from op picture of case clamp. I was given incorrect information on them both being thick here on this forum.
All depends what you've seen @Kja I'd imagine someone selling a Connie with that dial mentioned service history? @sdre you can also search sold eBay listings to check price. Another guess is you may not find one similar.
As you have been told in another thread, case clamps depend on the case they are used on, as well as the movement. They are case parts, not movement parts.
