    Hello everybody


    Some constellations state 'officially certified' in a third line, some don't. Was there a date when they started this or were these two different qualities? Isn't a chronometer always officially certified?

    And some steel watches sport a golden observatory on the back, some a stainless steel one. Is this also a sign of different grading?

    I think it was with the cal 551 that this text omission was brought in. So mainly seen in ref 14381. Also with the cal 561 date version which IIRC is the 14393.

    There is no difference in quality it was purely a design decision which was after a short while reversed.
