·Today I’m selling this beautiful Constellation f2.4Mhz Megaquartz from the 1970's.
The gorgeous blue aventurine “stardust” dial has a raised Omega logo at 12, a date window at 6 and a white minute chapter ring. The dial is mint and really beautiful, almost impossible to capture its true character in a photo, but when the light catches it it really comes to life with the glittering effect. The bright white hour and minute hands are in excellent shape as is the silver seconds hand.
The steel case is in excellent condition, super sharp and unpolished with original brushing visible. Very hard to find in this condition and the best I’ve seen.
Running a calibre 1510. The movement is setting correctly and keeping excellent time as would be expected of this super accurate movement. No service history in my ownership. I haven’t unscrewed the case for movement pictures, but I’ve inspected it when I originally bought it.
The 1239/202 bracelet is also in excellent condition, tight and with original finish. This 1239/202 at 28mm width is 2mm smaller than the 30mm 1209/202. I have take that into account with my pricing.
