·For your consideration:
I´m selling this really nice Omega Constellation Electroquartz - first ever Swiss quartz watch
Ref. number: 196.005
Serial number: 31732xxx
Movement: Quartz watch – Electroquartz f 8192 Hz - Cal 1300 - Beta 21
Case: The case is unpolished in almost mint condition with only a few superficial hairlines.
Dial and hands: Original hands and the original, spotless dial.
Bracelet: The watch comes on an original Omega bracelet with folding clasp – ref. no. 1185/168
Size: 37 x 44 mm
Service: Service history is unknown, but I have just had the watch checked by my local watch maker. He put in a new battery. The watch is perfect and running exactly as it should and it´s keeping accurate time.
The Omega Electroquartz was the first Swiss made quartz watch. According to the history it was the culmination of years of research and development by nearly 20 Swiss manufacturers including IWC, Patek, Omega, Rolex and others. It is said to have costed a fortune in developing.
Furthermore, this ref. has only been made in 9000 examples. I´m not sure of the exact age, but it should be from the early seventies (1970).
I´m asking for EUR 1.075 – including shipping and fully insurance in EU. Overseas shipping to be discussed.
I have sold a few watches here in this fantastic Forum, and so far, I have all positive references.
Thank you OF and all you members.
