·Hi OF,
I'm willing to let my C-Shape Conni go to a new home.
She deserves to be worn but she's just not getting the appropriate amount of wristtime from me.
Plus I scored a personal grail in the last month and need to recoup some of the expenses so I'm selling part of my collection.
Lets break her down:
Omega Constellation Chronometer
Reference 168.029
Caliber 751
Serial: 29103538
Nicknamed the "C-Shape"
1. Dial, Hands and Crystal:
The linen dial itself is flawless, it's for sure this watches party piece.
The hands are in great condition with undamaged Onyx inlays and pleasently aged tritium lumen.
Apart from the indicies at 9,10 and 1 where the tritium started to flake a bit, the lumen dots are all present and in perfect shape.
The crystal is a modern Omega service replacement that was fitted during the last service, it's free of any major scratches.
2. Case
The Case is far from pristine, but it's honest and unpolished.
Although it shows some wear and tear the edges are still very sharp and the original brushed and polished finishes present themselves nicely.
Please take a close look at the pictures, feel free to zoom in.
The biggest downside of the case would be a quite prominent burr on the upper right lug, fortunately it's hardly recognizable from a normal viewing angle whilst worn on the wrist.
The Caseback is in good shape, the Observatory Logo with the stars is sharp and not worn.
I had the crown changed during service, the original crown will be included.
The white gold bezel is in good nick.
3. Movement
The movement was serviced by my Omega certified watchmaker in 04/2018, whom I trust with all my vintage watches. It's running smooth and jumps to live as soon as the watch is picked up and worn or the crown is given 2-3 turns.
The quick set date function works perfectly and the date changes over crisp at 12.
I will attach a copy of the service recipe, which totaled in an amount of 500€.
4. Strap
The strap is from BandRbands and is nearly unworn. I wore the watch maybe 4-5 times after I got her back from service. It's their vintage camel brown suede strap, medium size, and favours the watch very nicely in my opinion.
5. Conclusion
This is a nice and honest example of a C-Shape connstellation, serviced and ready to wear. It's a great entry into vintage Omega collecting or a nice addition to an allready established collection. I'm only selling it because at this point I cannot afford the luxury of having watches just sitting in a safe.
6. Price and Shippment:
I'm asking 1075 € / 1200 $ net. OBO
Payment via Bankwire (Paypal for established Members of this Forum, PP fees to be covered by the buyer)
Shipping within Germany via Intex is included in the price.
F2F in the Frankfurt area is possible 😀.
Shipping within the EU will be 35 € insured/tracked/signed via DHL.
International Shipping is possible, please shoot me a PM and we can work out the details.
No Retourns, except I grossly misrepresented something in the discription.
