Omega Constellation age

I have an Omega Constellation Chronometer automatic, ref. 13043500, serial number 80534947. According to tables I have found on internet it should have been made in 2006. However, I bought it from a recognised dealer already late 2003.

I have had it serviced on several occasions at recognised dealers accepting it as a genuine Omega, including the pictogram card and chronometer certificate, so no suspicion of "perfect fake".

Is there any explanation for this discrepancy?

The serial number charts generally aren't accurate past the mid 90's.

Yep. If the OP bought the watch from an AD in 2003, it obviously was manufactured before then. Probably in the late 1990s or early 2000s.
