Hi guys,

I have found this watch on an auction and wonder if there is anyone who own this type of watch and can provide me with a “on the wrist” picture? I have been searching without any success. I do also wonder about the small space between the case and the glass frame, it looks a bit asymmetric, something to worry about and whats the explanation of it? And is it worth a buy for 300$?

Thank you! // D

It is very hard to tell you much from a single picture, but this looks like a non-chronometer Omega Constellation from the late 1970’s.

By this time, Omega had started to cut corners on quality to compete against cheap quartz watches. This was not one of their better efforts.

The answers to your questions are inside the watch.

I think I found it. It wasn’t easy!

This one has 2 reference numbers—155.0022 and 355.0815. Cal. 711 is correct for this watch.

If you like the style, $300 is a fair price for this watch. Remember to budget something for service costs.

Hope this helps,
