Hi, here is my Omega Constellation, maybe from 1952-54. I found her tidying up in the house of a friend. He had died and I had helped with the dissolution of the house. The watch was in miserable condition, hands bent and dial hardly recognizable. To thank for my help, I was allowed to take the clock with me.That was about 20 years ago. I then had it revised also the dial was redailed. Not perfect, but not bad as well. Can someone tell me which housing it is?
Cal 354 and that snap back case is most likely a 2652 but could also be a 2782. If it is a 352 then the case ref will be 2652
I initially thought 2652 but the applied logo (if original to watch) made me think 2782. OP you will need to have the caseback removed to be 100% sure.
I don't understand the dfference in Logos, to me tey seem equal in the Omega archive. Could you please explain?
Got a nice tool today and was able to open the back. It's a 354 14xxx number and a 2782-9 SC. So it seems to be from 54.
Has anyone done a detailed study of the Applied Omega logos in the 1950's to 1970's time period and their variations? I have been looking a lot of images of Pie Pans, and the differences in OMEGA logos. Very interesting specific area.
