·Collection thin-down continues. Today I am offering this nice Constellation reference 2853 with 18k deluxe dial. Caliber 505 was serviced in in late 2017 and the watch was seldom used, it still works great and keeps excellent time. There are rotor brush marks both in the case and rotor.
The 18k solid gold pie pan deluxe dial has a beautiful combination of a brushed center and polished facets. It is in excellent shape, although there are microscopic scratches around the markers not visible unless closely inspected. Please see close up circled in red.
The 18k solid cold case is in nice shape but has definitely met the polishing wheel, still it looks very nice and retains the original shape. The same can be said of the bezel which is now a bit rounded, and the caseback seems to have been refinished probably to remove some tool marks but its just on the chamfered edge, the central portion seems to be untouched and the medallion is the crispiest one I have seen. The dark yellow gold case has developed a nice tarnish which I find atractive, although it could easily be removed if desired.
My asking price is $3700 shipped within the continental US, add $50 for international shipping. The sale is for the head only, the strap pictured is not included in the sale.
