·Continuing my mini sell-off today with this lovely Omega Constellation 2852 with beautiful arrowhead and two-tone waffle dial.
The Constellation line was introduced in the early 50’s and the 2852 reference came with a cal 501 or later cal 505 and in a number of case materials.
This one has a gold top case that is in great shape, with the bezel retaining good definition. The 2852 has distinctive lyre lugs and is very elegant on the wrist, actually my favourite of the different Constellation case references. The crown has a bit of wear to the gold.
The beautiful two-tone waffle dial has golden arrowhead markers and dauphine hands and they are in lovely condition. Signed Omega crystal.
The case back has of course the observatory medallion in gold and the rest of the engravings are visible.
The cal 501 movement with a serial of 14.5 million has been serviced by my watchmaker IIRC in early 2018 so is running very well and keeping good time. At some point in it’s history the original rotor has been swapped out for a non-chronometer example. I have taken that into account with my price.
I'm selling this one head only but can include a well matching brown or black leather strap if so requested.
