Dear fellow Omega friends

It is done, my 2648 is back from service. There had been some interesting moments which made my heart stand still (the wanted to change the original hands) but after all everything was fine and in the end pretty Connie is looking as in her best days keeping her charme from her experienced years. Its very low serial number (12616xxx) is also a plus. Also thanks to @mondodec for reading my sorrows during service ;-)

Here I would like to share some first (Handy)pics - at least in different light - to show you my joy

 

Looks great! If I may say so I think it would look much nicer on a nice 18/16 or 18/14 lizard or unpadded croc/alligator strap. Early Connie's just love those kind of grained leathers.

 

Thanks @cristos71 also for the band advice I am still in trial mode, I have a black lizard but it's somehow hard to the warm gold case

 

Similar dialed watches with small scaled brown lizard straps. IMHO the perfect accompaniment for a waffle with a golden case.
