I'm going to keep this short and sweet!

I'm looking at a possible purchase of what is being advertised as a omega constellation 2583 De Luxe.

It has an amazing bracelet that I've called head over heals for, but I want to actually make sure this is what is being advertised.

i know a lot of these old casebacks were double signed so they could use the same caseback on different references. this one has both a 2582 and 2583.

The 2583 would be the De Luxe version and should have a solid gold dial. There is some patina on this dial and I'm not sure this happens to gold. Any experts care to chime in?

This one has been sitting on eBay for a while. It’s a 2852, not a deluxe 2853. A gold dial would look like this (YG here, not RG):

Yes, it’s a rare bracelet, especially in RG. The watch itself isn’t particularly attractive to my eye.

Not sure the end pieces on the bracelet are correct. Looks like a non-Omega reproduction to me.

Would you have more detailed pictures?

Looks nice and fits the watch well. I have no clue on the origin, but does not look to be made by Omega.

You would need to buy a watch like this with a right to return and have the bracelet tested for gold content.

Thanks for all the input. I have decided to pass. It's pricy, and I don't love that it's being advertised as a de luxe (while not being a de luxe).
