Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an Omega Constellation ref. 168.044 from a vintage shop in Tokyo and I’m trying to identify the correct original steel bracelet and end links for this model.

Here are the details:

  • Model: Omega Constellation 1969
  • Reference: 168.044
  • Movement: (likely cal. 1011 / 1012 - I can confirm if needed)
  • Case: TV-shaped case, stainless steel
  • Lug width: 20 mm

The watch is currently on a non-original strap, and I would like to source a period-correct Omega steel bracelet if possible.

I’m trying to identify the correct configuration before searching on the secondary market.

Could anyone help with:

  1. The correct original bracelet reference(s) for the 168.044
  2. The corresponding end links
  3. Any known compatible alternatives from the same era
  4. Where could I find it? (Online or in Paris shop)

Also, if you have examples or photos of original configurations, that would be extremely helpful.

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

Thanks a lot, that’s very helpful.

Just to make sure I get this right before sourcing one:

Would a 1163 bracelet with 691 end links be a confirmed correct factory configuration for the 168.044, or just a known compatible combination?

Also, do the 691 end links fit the case flush without gaps on this reference?

If anyone has a confirmed original example or photos, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks again

It's the standard factory bracelet, there may be more options but this is the one that it should come with if specced on bracelet. Here's some photos of how it should look:
