Would a 24 jewel caliber 752 be correct in this reference? While doing searches on eBay, I'm finding both the adjusted caliber 751 and the unadjusted 752 in this ref Constellation. Trying to determine if the 752's in a Constellation are frankens or correct/acceptable.

You can check your case reference number (168.016) against the omega data base online to find out.

The 752 is NOT a chronometer, therefore has no business in any case marked with an "8" in the 3rd spot (just before the decimal point). That "8" designates a chronometer rated caliber, which would normally end in a "1" (564 being the exception in the 1960's). In the instance of a day / date it would be a caliber 751.

The correct case for a 752 or 750 would have a "6" in the 3rd position, designating a water resistant case housing a caliber with some kind of calendar display.

Here's a quick guide for further details:

You will see the same coding that Dennis points out in the 750, 751, 752 Sparkle Seamaster references
