I’m interested in buying this Omega Constellation from eBay. I included some but not all photos below. Are these watch and seller legitimate? How is the condition?

Below are my (novice) observations:
• The crystal is signed, which suggests that it’s original.
• The dial looks legitimate. The weight and position of letters and ticks are correct. “Swiss made” is appropriate.
• The hands are dauphine, which is correct.
• The facets on the dog legs have retained their definition.
• The crown is decagonal, which is correct.
• The movement is 561, which is correct.
• The medallion on the back is gold and has eight stars, which is correct.

What did I miss? Thank you!

You didn’t miss anything really. Even the gasket is the yellow original one it seems.

I‘d argue it saw a little bit of polishing but it’s certainly better than average.

Unlike the price, which is significantly above average. Do note that while pie pan variants are desirable, both gold capped and the date version are on the lower end of the dogleg price scale. 2180$ is what I‘d expect a very nice, dateless SS example to go for. Also be aware this one wasn’t serviced, factoring that in you’re at 2.5k+ for a watch that, in a no reserve auction, would likely go for about 1000$ less.

Also, the seller is located in Equador so you’d expect that customs would be incurred for any international transaction.
