Hi All,

I would greatly appreciate it if I could get some opinions from the community on the legitimacy of this Omega Constellation 168.005 Pie Pan. I saw a local deal on it and would like another opinion before purchasing. Thanks in advance!

Pics aren't the best... Looks legit, but very polished.

Have them come down another $500, and then they will be in the ballpark.

A bit too polished for my liking though...

At least the end links of the bracelt are aftermarket

So we have an overpolished example with aftermarket Endlinks and the wrong box.
Was it serviced?
I can't see why anyone would pay over 1200-1500 for this example.

Seller said it was serviced in September

The pics are photoshopped. Stainless steel might be silver/grey, but the light it reflects certainly isn't.

Apart from the polishing, be very careful with this one in case other defects are air-brushed out.

I hate when sellers do this. It makes me instantly suspicious.

He has a service receipt from Tim Mackrain but Tim said he didn’t do any service to the case or dial

The service receipt counts for about $300 if it is recent. Like I say it is the photoshopping that discourages me. He is not doing you or himself any favors by misrepresenting like that - it could even be having the effect of exaggerating the extent of the polishing.

I'm not an expert. So if I was you I'd take the boys advice above. Stall, and wait for a more honest example.
