I'm selling off a cal. 561 Omega Constellation in stainless steel I've had lying around for a long while now, waiting to get it restored - now when the Constellation price rise have made it financially viable, I find that I have lost interest in the variant I have debated between restoring it partially or fully and then selling it at market price to recoup the expense, but for now I am willing to move it on for what it owes me. I am certain that given the care of a watchmaker, this will be a decent buy for someone. Note: Please look elsewhere if you are looking for something to strap on the moment you receive it. This will need the attention of a qualified specialist Cons: - Watch doesn't run. I have seen the seconds hand move briefly, and the balance moves, but that is the extent of motion I've experienced. - The caseback has seen some unsympathetic treatment and could do with polishing or restoration. - The crown is a replacement. And not a nice one. Pros: - The case is, apart from the back, in very decent shape. If any polishing has been done, it has been very, very light. - The hands set, the date changes immediately at 12 o'clock and the semi-quick-set works fine. - The pie-pan dial is in fair state with only minor marks and partial lume loss.
