·Hi OF
This is a tough one for me to let go. It was a milestone watch for me when I acquired it over two years ago (it's the watch in my avatar). Since then I've acquired a silver dialed version of it with a sharper case from a member here. Plus my taste has shifted towards Omegas from the 50s and chronographs. Hence, this one can find a new home.
Specifications and condition:
Model: Omega Constellation ref. 14900
Dial: I bought this watch for the dial, a black pie pan dial that developed an attractive and even patina that turned the dial into a matte brown reminding me of ground coffee powder. Typical for a 14900 it features a less busy dial without the "Officially Certified" line. The cross-hairs are the cherry on the cake. To the (in my eyes) minor flaws: The dial appear to have to outward bumps to the left of the 5 o'clock and to the top of the 9 o'clock hour mark. These are only visible from a certain angle. I tried to capture them in the images. Hands are oxidated and the radium lume is missing on the minute hand (which I only realized when taking the pictures). Otherwise the lume, that turned very dark, seems to be present on the hour and and all the markers.
Movement: Calibre 551, a full automatic movement. It was serviced in July 2021 by an Omega certified watchmaker. The service receipt will be included. I haven't had the case opened since the service. The movement pictures are by the dealer who sold me the watch pre-service.
Case: Stainless steel case dog-leg case. It has seen a polish or two, but the facets on the lugs are still visible. There are scratches on the caseback from prior case openings (not by me).
Crown: Original thin decagonal crown with flat foot logo.
Crystal: Original signed crystal.
Measurements: 34mm in diameter without crown, 42 mm lug to lug, lug width 18mm
Accessories: Original matching Omega BoR bracelet no. 8270 with a pair of 570 end links that I purchased from @No Mercy. My wrist size is 17.5 cm and the quick adjustment pin is set in the center hole of the clasp, so the bracelet should go for wrist sizes of 17 - 18 cm. Unfortunately, I don't have any extra links.
Price: I'm asking CHF 2100 (was CHF 2450) (or the equivalent amount in EUR or USD) plus shipping. Happy to ship worldwide.
No returns unless grossly misrepresented.
Payment through Wise or otherwise bank transfer is strongly preferred. The watch and I are located in Switzerland.
Any questions, please ask. I have plenty of reviews as both a buyer and seller here.
