Hi all,

I’m looking at purchasing this watch and want to know if it’s a decent deal at ~$1400 USD. I’m attaching all the pictures I can. I’ve wanted a vintage Constellation for some time and this would be a bday present to myself. I just want to make sure I’m not getting taken for a ride.

thanks in advance!

Did you want an all original Constellation for your birthday?

It's not a collectible example because of the repainted dial, and so the price seems quite high IMO.

Yeah, that was the hope… Seller claims it’s all original except the replaced crystal. Is this inaccurate?

Dial has been repainted? Oh no!! What would be a fair price do you think? Is getting an honest Constellation for under $2k possible?

Certainly. I think you will see them for sale on this forum quite often.

You're welcome.

Many threads on the Forum with excellent pictures of original Constellations, if one wants originality. Some do some don't. The OP had no hint, hence my question at post #2.

And, as you found out, Sellers can say anything, but from learning and asking questions here before you buy, we can help steer you away from the shoreline. Happy you posted so we could help.
