I have a special Connie that has a gold band made out of small blocks. The band is too small for me so I need more length, about 2-inches.

    Anyone have ideas?

If you're talking about a grand luxe bracelet, which looks like brickwork that's going to be a very tall order I'm afraid

Yes, that's exactly what I'm looking for! Any clue how I could go about it? The watch belonged to my dad, and for me to wear it, I need to add about 2-inches to the bracelet.

If I were you I'd start looking at leather straps, it'll be 18mm fitment at the lugs. Can you post some pics?

I'm afraid that those two links, along with several others, were melted down when gold was over $1,800.US an oz.

From memory there was something about the bracelet pins being soldered into place as well which would make adding links a rather interesting prospect.

The watch is an odd one, one I've not seen anywhere else. The face is not a pie-pan. It was purchased by my dad in Israel in 1968, if that helps identify it. No box or papers. It just went through a $1500 refurb at the Omega factory.

It's not fun blind talking with no pictures. My best guess is, a leather strap or a plated bracelet are more feasible options. Will need pictures to know which one will fit the watch.
