Anyone brave enough to take this on....
Beyond economical repair... and given how plentiful these are... why would you?
Maybe it just needs a decent nickname to bring out the big $$$ .....how about calling it a Sub-Tropical Chronostop Ultraman?
Please come to my house and help me get the tea out of my keyboard.
only case and hands are worth something.
Looks like a reasonable amount of corrosion in the case back, around the sides of the movement, and the pushers - I'd take a punt on that case being FUBAR from a water resistance point of view, even when it's been cleaned up.
If this was about 20x larger I would hang it on my wall as modern art.
If I took that to my watch repairer he'd smash it with a hammer, wipe it off his bench into the trash and ask what else I brought.
Agree, no hope of resurrection. If it was free I'd have it as a novelty piece.
With manageable efford (and a little bit of criminal attitude) hands, case, bottom and crystal are "repairable".
And are more worth than 100 £.
It's proper fucked. Not worth £1 let alone £100.
He's dead Jim...
Sad to see. [emoji17]
Good lord, was it just flooded with water and left to sit for decades?
Well it sold ....1 bid @ £100 !
I can't believe someone paid 100 beans for that.
Neither can I !
Well, if that seconds hand shows up on a 321 Speedmaster, it'll return interest on the investment
(yes, I know it's slightly smaller than the correct Ultraman hand)
