New addition to my collection. Just wondering is cashback authentic as never seen one before with omega written on it from this era.

Thanks. Picked it up with 2 others in St Lawrence market Toronto yesterday. The others were a chronostop driver and wittneuer diver.

Anyone else getting a whiff of the Good Dr. F?

“Swiss made T” no lume on dial.

    Hands either replaced or repainted.

    Highly suspect case back.

The caseback doesn't look like a good fit.
I believe "Dr. F" refers to Dr. Frankenstien. (where is autocorrect when I need it?)
This looks like a watch cobbled together from a box of second hand parts, i.e. frankenwatch.

The numbers on the movement and inside the caseback will clarify the situation.

Not 100% sure you are correct there. I will have my watch guy open it up and look at the movement. Thanks.

Looks like a collection of parts, some non Omega, crammed together by a back street repairer.

Thanks. At last some decent comments. Hopefully when opened I will post caseback and movement photos.

I’m not saying it’s ugly. You asked for an evaluation, esp of the caseback.

Solves the case as legit. It’s one of those exceptions to the rule about writing on casebacks hence the concern. Dial is definitely later as T markings came after that watch.

I'm 100% sure I am 100% correct in that the numbers will clarify the situation regarding this watch.
