    Hi All

I inherited an Omega a few weeks ago. Along with the watch I have the original documents and the receipt and from these I have been able to see it was bought in 1969 however I have not been able to establish any more info.

A jeweller told me its not worth much but I had it valued online and they said it was worth circa £1800 (three times what the jewellers said)

Can anyone advise on the model name / number etc - and is it worth anything??

    Thanks

    Steve

The watch is so dirty, it is not possible for us to comment on the colour of the gold. Rose gold or yellow gold would not make a large difference in price. We would need to the the back side of the case and the back side of the buckle, to make a judgement on the material the case and bracelet are made of. We would need to see what is inside the case, and also any embossing inside the case back. There are a lot of knowledgeable Omega members on this board, but with no information, they are only guessing!

Really sorry I didn't give enough (and I agree the watch is very dirty - however who where would be best to do this?)

I have attached a load more pictures and also the receipt and the warranty etc)

I hope these hep as I'd really love to know more about this watch.

Also - I'm sure the experts already know this - but it is not an automatic. IMG_0028.JPG

It looks like a british made Dennison or Shackmans 9k example, will be yellow gold not rose, I would say £1000-£1200 privately, retailed through a jeweller £1350 - £1650

I cannot tell the condition of the bracelet, these BCT's where quite think and were easily damaged, which is in itself quite a complex and involved repair. Yours looks fair
