I don't have the very good pictures hope you can help me verify if its legit? It looks like the crown is wrong and I'm not sure about Seamaster calendar having a cyclops? I don't have any movement pics

My guess would be that is a ref 2849 which should house a cal 503, like you mentioned the crystal is not original (the same goes for the crown) and the hands seem fine can't really tell from the pics... Here is mine for reference

Looks fine except for the crown.

Cyclops crystals were available for these, so this one could be Omega.

No problem. Early seamaster did not have logo in the caseback.

Those are the correct style of crown for the watch. However, you can do better on price by ordering from Ofrei.com or CousinsUK.

Get the case reference number from the inside of the caseback, or better yet have your watchmaker do it at the next service.

If the crystal has the "Ω" in the middle it is likely original and should just be polished. Otherwise, you should be able to get an OEM crystal from the above suppliers. They came with and without the magnifiers, so that would be your choice.

    Take care,

Thanks gatorcpa I will call Ofrei or CousinsUK, Any ideas on a Co. for a service and maybe a typical price? I've had a Rolex Airking and Tudor 79090 Sub done a ABC WWerks but the price is around 500.00 I don't really want to pay that much for this Omega.

A service on these guys should be around $200 or so, but it could vary with location. I am in FL so I don't know of any watchmakers in SC maybe someone else here can chime in...
