    Hi guys,
Can someone tell me are all, for example,cal.565 same dimensions or not? On pictures looks all the same.
Most of e bay sellers don't state dimensions, and I 'm no expert.
I assume that there are many omega whatches that use same caliber but different dimensions depending on a case size?
    Tnx

Are you asking about the size of the movement, or the size of the case? All cal 565 movements are the same size. Case sizes vary.

Size of a movement? For example 166.041 is using cal.565 and also 166.027 is the size of a movement the same, there are also some so called LADY size seamaster 120 that look same on a picture but the size of a case is 6-7 mm smaller. Is the size of a movement same size?

I was wondering how I can be sure is it cal.correct for seamaster 120 166.027 and that is not taken at some time form another referenc and put inside. There is no guarantee?

    Cal 565 is correct for a 166.027.

You can check the serial number for the movement to see if it was manufactured in approximately the right year, but it's hard to do much more than that without ordering an Extract from Omega. If you order an Extract from Omega, they will give you details about the reference, the movement, where it was sold, etc.

Yes and no - diameter will be the same but height of the posts may differ depending on the movement.

So it is more complicated than I thougt:(::book::. I give up, I will just have to buy watch not parts and hope that the extract will be correct.

The lady SM120 you're referring to would have a completely different movement altogether, either a 681 or 684, iirc.

Yes, you are right...I don't know why I was thinking that they are the same movement ::facepalm1::.But luckily then I made this post and @Archer then told me that there is possibility that they won't fit because of post heights.
