I purchased a new Speedmaster Pro last year confident that the movement already had the newer style bushing installed when the movement was made to address the chronograph issue that had been reported. I’ve had no issues so far but the watch doesn’t get a lot of wrist time and I don’t use the chronograph. I’m just curious if the quirks or issues with a new movement have been worked out and addressed by Omega or are some still experiencing any issues. The only minor issue my Speedy has is the chronograph minute hand moves a couple seconds before the chronograph seconds hand hits 12:00 o’clock, but I understand that’s fairly common and a simple minor adjustment so I’m not overly concerned about it, I may get it adjusted one day.

Yes they have been.
I appreciate the reply. Any idea of knowing when Omega was installing the updated bushing in the cal 3861 movement? I waited and bought mine last year hoping it would already have the new updated bushing already installed in the movement. It was shipped to the store from Omega so it wasn’t in the display case.

The easiest way to tell is if it has the PUSH button extension inside the clasp. If the clasp has it & wasn't "upgraded" by the previous owner if it's pre-owned, then it has the updated bushing.

Awesome, thank you. My watch has the push button extension so I should be good to go!
