Hi everyone, I have (in fact I am going to have) a cal 30T2 gold, something like this: https://www.poshtime.com/watches/3024.031d.jpg The watch is without strap and buckle, therefore I would like to complete them as much possible the same way as they were in the past, so I have 3 questions regarding this: 1) What type/kind of a gold buckle was as original for these type of watches? 2) What size of buckle was original (the watch-end size of the strap is 20 mm width) 3) ...and where can I get one? Thank you for your help in advance! Karel Hostomský
Go here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/about-omega-buckles.37347/ - lot of information... BTW even solid gold watches of the 40ies did not have solid gold buckles, only gold plated ones...
And to answer the third question, you check out the Watch Parts and Accessories For Sale section of the forum and keep a lookout for what you want, https://omegaforums.net/forums/watch-parts-accessories-for-sale/, or take your chances at eBay.
