    Just wonder around what serial number caliber 30 started.

    Bought this recently which has 89xxxxx serial

    you would have to share at least 2 more digits of the serial# and I will be able to help you...

    Wouldn't between 8,965,220 and 8,965,819 serial numbers would it?? , One of the 600 special.

    OK, as Erich or Mike has not shown up. The watch movement is one of the first run of Omega manual 30mm movements (600) created in 1939 into April 1940 . Very few of these early movements survive today.

    Well im a lucky one Who has two out of those 600. The other one is in better dial condition. Will post picture in the evening

    Due to time difference I am a bit late to the party...

    I can confirm what Steve pointed out - a watch out of the first Cal. 30 batch of 600

    do you mind sharing more details like the diameter of the case?

    Dont mind at all. Both i have are 37.5mm. Other one which i will share later have black dial with gilded numerals and 755 end of the serial. Can You send the other thread of other ones which other members have so i can see How many variants there were. Regards from London

    more off are the hands which should not be leaf and SS - rather "feather" and gold colored
