You should always be careful about black dials. No exception with this one, the OMEGA looks well off to me. Compare the dial to

The gold figures a polished smooth, very typical for a refinished dial.

 

Redialed and relumed.


How about looking at that swanky black dialed ref. 2639 on the sales forum right now? One elderly woman owner, only used on Sundays in church, parked under cover in a heated garage all winter...
