    Hello folks,

When in doubt, seek an expert's opinion! I picked up this vintage Omega cal. 265 and, although I rather like the stainless dial, I have my suspicions about it. The watch has a lovely English case, by Dennison, that matches the date of the movement - 1951-52. The movement is clean and keeping perfect time. But do you think the dial is right? And if not, what dial would be a better fit?

In my position, what would you do?!!

All advice is very gratefully received!

    Thanks for your help.

PS - I've found a Seamasters with a similar typeface, but all have the familiar white enamel ground. See below

Markers are original, the printing is not.

If one wants to remain optimistic, I guess you could call it "custom".

    But I wouldn't.
