Come across what I consider as per title and ref. 2450 5 ?
Never gone so far back in Omega land but from this one available image it looks ok! to my eye.
Any comments, good or bad welcome.

    Hi,
Nice Watch. Is the 2450-5 ref written in the Inside of the caseback? Do you know what year is this watch?

Stuart, I have a 2165A with an identical dial. Yours is better preserved, but may have been redialed at some point in its life. Mine was advertised as from the British Civil Service stationed in India in the 1940s, and the serial dates the movement (26.5 T3) to 1943. I had it on earlier today. I personally love the colours of patina on this one.

Thank you gentlemen, only this image but going for a look in person today.
Age wise without seeing it I would guess around the mid forties.
Paul, yes a bit concerned it may be a redial, some of the numerals look a bit off or maybe just reflection. Anyway new spectacles at the ready ;) Does yours have CS.I inside the case back? I sold a Favre Leuba a while back which had the markings.

Yes, this has those markings. I will need to find that picture and post it. Good luck with the hunt!

Inspected and a walk on by.
On close inspection not a redial but someone had made a poor attempt to clean the dial.

That is unfortunate; that could have been a nice piece in your collection. :(
