Some time ago I got the Omega Cadran Brevetè S.G.D.G pocket watch. Could you support me with identifying dials meaning? There are black, red, blue, orange, etc. colors, hover I have no idea what does it mean and what is the purpose of it? I have movement no and case no if needed. All I know is that one of it should show the speed. Watch is dated for ~1910.
Are there any sources that I could read more on that?

SGDG :Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement.
Literally Without guarantee from the government (French government that is).

« Breveté SGDG » était en France une mention légale dégageant l'État de toute responsabilité sur le bon fonctionnement effectif du dispositif breveté. Cette mention a été établie par la loi du 5 juillet 1844 Art.

The colored tracks correspond to the minute markings on the sub-dial. It is a 5 minute Tachymeter.

You’ll note that 1 minute is red. The red numbers start at 60 and get lower. One mile (or kilometer or any other unit) in one minute is 60 miles an hour. One mile in 2 minutes is 30 miles an hour, etc.

If the object is traveling at >60mph, you use the black number track corresponding with zero minutes, which is also black.

It looks more complicated than it is.
