Hi OF,

For sale is my ~68 Omega C-Case Constellation 168.017 with dauphine hands/onyx inserts and 1040 bracelet, from Japan. This was just (this month) serviced by my watch maker with an Omega parts account and comes with a 12 month warranty. I purchased this at the beginning of the year and had no intention of selling it; however, during the four months it was at the spa, I decided to refocus my collection on vintage tool watches and as a result is now on the block.

This watch is in overall excellent condition. As I wasn't around in '68, I won't claim this to be unpolished... but with the sharp lines, crisp beveled edge, and radial brushing, I don't have a reason to suspect that is has been polished. This watch was taken care of by its previous owner as there are faint signs of wear with the deepest mark being on the top left lug. The crystal is signed and is overall very clean. The silver sunburst dial is original and gorgeous and has a lot of charm paired with the dauphine hands with onyx inserts. The signed scalloped crown is in great condition and with a fresh service, it winds well and functions how you would expect. Quick set date is easy to use and accurately advances the date. The case back is sharp and shows light signs of wear. With a fresh service, it has new gaskets and has passed a pressure test to +3.0 bar.

The included 1040 bracelet is not original to the watch as I had purchased it separately. It is 16.5cm in length and is way more than enough for my 7" wrist. It shows signs of wear and feels solid and secure on the wrist. The bracelet came with both original #18 end links but one was fragile and broke as it was being shaped/re-worked as it was slightly misshapen. So, only 1 original #18 is included, which is shown in the images below. The attached end links fit really well and do the job.

Included is a red Omega box but I am not about to say it is original as I do not have enough knowledge to make said claims. It did, however, come with the watch so I am just keeping them together.

The watch and I are located in Northern California and I am asking $1,200 with free shipping within the conus. Shipping abroad will be an additional charge. I will accept payment via PP F&F, Wise, or Zelle. Returns are not accepted unless the watch has been grossly misrepresented. Included in the sale will be the receipt of service as well as pressure test results.

I didn’t see this when it first went up- this is a nice deal. C-case Connie, sunburst silver, with bricks bracelet and freshly serviced by an authorized service provider…that’s about as good as it gets.

Bump to reflect this is open for trades.

For transparency, I purchased this in auction at the beginning of '22 for a little more than what I have it listed for now. At the time, I had no intention of selling this so I sent it off for service, which cost a little more than $600. I decided to refocus my collection to be vintage divers and chronographs while it was away at the spa for a lengthy time. I would rather not take too much of a financial hit on this, so I have opened it up to a trade with cash in either direction.
