Clicking on the picture will give you the full size image. Dial looks pretty good.

Looks like the hour marker at 11 is not aligned with the others and it reaches the minute markers.

    You're right. 1, 2, 7 and 8 also similar

PS: The lume plots on all of these markers look newer and different in shape and colour than the rest.

Looks like someone took a chisel to the case by the crown. And the hands judging from the shadows appear to be very high from the dial.

Thank for your comments I think the case by the crown is a shadow because if you look at the shadow put off by the hands the light is coming from the right of the watch. I think with the lighting and angles of the crystal it makes the lume dots look off. I think the hands might look a little higher only because of the sub second hand probably pretty typical I added more pic but not the best these are from the posing.

You may want to check it out with a loupe, but it appears that the 1, 2, 7, 8 and 11 hour markers are placed not evenly between their adjacent minute indices. This indicating those markers may have been taken/fallen off and reattached rather improperly. They seem to have been relumed also. The dial otherwise does not seem to have been repainted/refinished.

    Here's my 2c.

Dial has original printing and guilloche. Luminous was "refreshed" at some point. Pretty sloppy job. It is possible the cannon pinion was also replaced and is slightly too large.

I don't think these issues are worth solving as they would add considerable cost to the deal.

This is a US market watch. Case was made in the US and movement is cal. 342 Omega (as per description). Now the question is whether this is a gold-filled or solid 14K gold case.

If it is gold filled, it's an OK deal. If it 14K gold, then it is a steal.

Thanks so much that makes me feel a little better The seller described as gold filled but stranger things have happened would be great if it's solid

If he says filled, that likely what it is. These are usually hallmarked on the outside of the caseback or between the lugs to conform to US laws at that time.

The picture you provided is too blurry to see it.

Just got the watch in and thought I would post some new pictures. Turns out the sellers pictures were the cause of the lume dots and markers looking off. Even when I took these it was hard because of curve of the crystal. All markers are in good alignment but missing one lume dot at the 10. Looks to me the dots are original to the dial. Watch has a fair amount of ware but I think it dates to 1952 its been around a while.
